R6

This is the first drawing piece I’ve made and perhaps the only piece that has a picture taking up most of the space.

This is piece also shows improvements in my summative abilities where I am now able to compress 2000 words into a little more than 10 sentences. Before finishing this piece, my summary of a passage will include every detail of that passage and then my summary just become a shorter version of that passage. Might be the result of trying to squeeze a few sentences in but I do feel like I have summarized this chapter efficiently.
Originally I tried not to include words in my drawing, but I realized that it would be too monotonous that I only have a building that the main faction of the book is trying to attack.

At time I was thinking: since this is a piece of art for an English class, words should be necessary to convey information. This mindset reinforced how I would be working on this piece. Also because I have little time considering I need to submit 6 more pieces to get a B in the last quarter, I need to go with the plan and finish the drawing as soon as possible.
I drew this similar to the splash art of a map from the game “Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege”. I don’t think I’ve done a good job of it because I used to sketch professionally when I was still in elementary school. Maybe I’m just putting too much pressure onto myself by comparing the now with the past…
